    Got this from an expert:

Axware checks your name and member # against the SCCA data base. If you do not spell your name exactly as it appears on your SCCA card, it will not make you a member.

There will be a Saturday night chicken barbeque on-site.  Cost is part of entry fee.  $10 for those who would like the dinner but are not registered participants.

Jim, I set up the registration via the axware site, but I can figure out how to pay. I'm using Firefox if that matters.

    Joe,

You may have to eliminate your middle initial?

Try that and if it doesn't work, send me p.m.

    Re: Registration is Open

We are anticipating a relatively low turn out for a Divisional.  Therefore, the standard 3 runs on each course format is being changed.  We will have somewhere between 4 and 6 runs per course per day.

    You can register at http://www.nedivsolo.org/08divisionals/

    Re: Registration is Open

Good luck but I think some of the NE SCCA regions have done you a disservice by not supporting the divisional.

Philly is running their Holbert two day event.

NNJR is running a regular points event.

NYR is running a points event too.

CART is running an event also.

CPR and NEPA also have events scheduled.

Perhaps the date of the divisional was too late for the regions to change their schedules.

Anybody want an easy divisional trophy?  Great site and good people.

Notice that the New England Region does not have a conflict. Smile

And CART isn't a real club. :loco:

    Re: Registration is Open

The Divisional date was chosen very late and has been for many years.  It is something the Divisional administrators are hoping to change for coming years.  But some big events were scheduled before the Divs.  There are no hard feelings on the part of the Divisional hosts.  We just hope no other regions who already had dates have any hard feelings toward our region or the Divs in general.  It was one of those things.

We're hoping that those folks who don't have a conflict can make an extra effort to come out to a great site and have a real good time.

As a competitor, I have no hard feelings toward the hosting region, but I was looking forward to running the Divs this year.

Who I do have a problem with is the NE Divisional Steward.  He's the one that schedules this, right?  What kind of person, nay neanderthal, doesn't check with the local regions to see if they already have events scheduled.  I'm a Philly region member and it just chaffs me that whomever this Steward person is, didn't take into account that we had our premiere two day event scheduled.  Our event was scheduled for months before he announced this event.  I didn't even see a save the date kind of posting anywhere.  Hell, the Steward probably is some 20 year old kid with two years autocrossing experience that they conned into doing the job by tempting him with candy or saying someone would by him a 40 of Colt45.  He's probably never even been to a Divisional before, much less out to Nationals.  I'm even willing to bet that this guy doesn't even drive a good car, I'm going to say it's a Yugo or his mothers station wagon when she lets him. I want to know whom I register my complaint with.

Well from an organizational point of view--the sooner the better to register ( We are ordering trophies and T shirts etc) --But Mohud will accomodate in any way we can.
There is a late registration fee --but I cannot find the date that takes effect. I do know online registration ends the 5th of August -- you would have to register onsite after then. The reg Fee is $65 --late Reg is $80

Also --if you are CASC and not SCCA --and run into an issue with the online reg process ---contact one of the MHR people and we will work it out.

The only tire contingency I know of for the Divisional events is Bridgestone. HOWEVER --A set of Hoosier A6's is to be givien away at the event. Every entrant gets a ticekt for the raffle --and additional tix can be purchased cheap at the event. 2nd place/3rd is an SPS Performance gift certificate

That pic must have been taken prior to, or after, the FLR "auto event" sign was placed.  We'll probably use their sign and put some cones around it.
