We, everyone who was at CAFB this past weekend, should thank everyone else who was there, for their cooperation over the whole weekend, and particularly, the patience shown during the power difficulties and timer issues.

I would like to reiterate Drew's call for help. Besides being able to do more with our website, we need AT LEAST one more person trained as webmaster.

Thanks to everyone who was patient when I managed to break the formula car, yet again.  The final verdict: we used tie-rod ends for the upper and lower ball-joints, they just could not handle the abuse of three people driving it two days in a row.  When they snapped, the wheel hit the control arm with such force that it bent the tube (5/8" O.D. 0.095" Wall thickness 4130 steel) and ripped the fitting from the brake caliper.  We are determining the best and safest way to remedy this problem so we can be at the next Columbus event in October. Hopefully with 2 cars this time...

The event was great, the course was extremely fun (Thanks course designer!) and fast.  The heat was a little much, but having plenty of water available helped.

I would like to thank everyone for putting up with me nearly passing out during sats. event.  Im glad i got to stay the entire time on sunday and help with the clean up.  Im still learning a lot and still have a goal to beat Trey this year   Thanks to a great fast course and plenty of water... I dont know if ill be coming to grenada due to extreme August heat maybe it will rain lol...
