    Isn't Packwood sorta bumpy?

I know one of the sites up there is horrible over in that part of the country.   Not standing up for Kiezer wheels.  I will probably not get them either.

    boardkat:
my first thought when i saw jay's run halt so abruptly was, "did he torque his lugs", a la the rx-7 mayhem from last year.  i can't honestly say that complete wheel failure was as high on the list.  scary.

I've seen two Keizer centers fail as described.

I've seen a Duralight do the same thing, too - but the Duralights were lotsa-years-old, IIRC, one of the K-wheels was virtually new, the other one was 3-4? years old - not REALLY old enough to justify failure, but it had some runs on it.

OTOH, the two sets of Welds that we bought in ~98 are still going strong; one set is in CA, gets some use (not sure how much), the other set is still here in CO, and the owner runs the car _every_ chance he gets.

Fingers crossed, but I'm not worried about it.
