13" wheels on Mk II MR2?

    13" wheels on Mk II MR2?

    I have a normally aspirated '93 MR2. Does anyone know if 13" wheels will clear the brakes. I'm interested in Hoosier's new 255/40-13 tires.

    I had a '91 na with 14" original wheels and the clearance was tight. I don't think 13's will fit.

    I have seen it done before.  This was back in 2004 I think at the DC Tour.  I do not know how they did it but I have seen it.
