    Low Profile Helmet?

Considering getting a new autocross car.  Problem is I can't fit in it with my helmet on...not enough headroom.  It would be a stock category car so modifying or replacing the seat is out.  I'm wondering if anyone has done any comparisons and identified any particular Solo2 legal helmet that has a lower profile than average?  My current helmet is the cheapy HJC CS-5 open face Snell M-rated model that is pretty common for budget-conscious autocrossers.  If I pay more, can I get someting that doesn't sit so high on my head?

I went through this issue, but switched classes, so it went away.

I believe the CS-5 is made on 3 molds depending on size.  What size you are will make a difference about how thick the helmet is on top.  Finding a helmet line that has a biggest size before the next bigger mold which coincides with your helmet size is key.  <--- written poorly, but read it again carefully :-)
