These tires are now available.

Tire Rack lists the 275 35 15 as having a 10.1" tread width. I finally got a hold of one of those tires and the tread width is actually 10.5".

They list the 255 as having a 9.5" tread width. Now I'm intrested in finding out what it's real tread width is.

Any help is much appreciated. 

Are they the same price everywhere (Tire Rack?) or does anyone know a "best price" location?

So far $200.00 is the best I've found. At the Tire Rack.

I guess it's how you measure it.  I can get 10.5" if I wrap my tape measure around the corners and go letters to letters on the side wall.  But, it looks like it has about 9.5" of flat and then add just a little extra to get you to the round of the tire of each side.

I was measuring the 275 arrow to arrow. Or just around the corner/edge. Considering that part of the tire is also used.
