I am posting this on all three of
forums for the regions that run in the Tri-State.
My co-driver and I are about 90% sure
we are not going to nationals this year, so I stated looking ahead to
the next big event that I could run in. Which is the Tri-State.
Before I go any further let's do a little math:
Run in Asher's F Stock Shelby
Nationals Notes
Gas 120 4 tanks with me paying half
Tires 600 Half a set of tires
Entry Fees 120
Food 200
Hotel 150 Half of the hotel
Total 1190
Run in STU in my M3
Tri-State Notes
Gas 210 Gas for all 3 legs
Tires None needed Running on my old
street tires
Entry Fees 100
Food 200
Hotel 75 One night in Newport and just
catching one day of each of the other legs
Total 585
It will cost me about the same
money to run the Tri-State as it will to run at Nationals if I
subtract the tires for the Shelby. Before I throw down that much
coin, who is coming?
Here is a quick look at who is running
in what class after a quick look at results in each of the regions:

So,
there will probably not even be a field of 3 at any of the stops in
any class.
If
you are going to run in it, post up here with car and class. Some
people will want to find a class they can run unopposed and other
will try to move to a class with the best drivers.
If
you have a link to the rules and last years winners please post that
up. My understanding is that you have to run in 2 or the 3 legs but
best I can tell there are 6 separate events ran over the course of 3
weekends with each of the regions hosting one of the weekends. I
could not find any rules on any of the three regions web sites.
