How was it starting on the back side?  Looked like a pretty clean start.

The kink was a bit tricky for some cars, but it sure beat the craziness I saw going into turn one last year.

I liked the start on the back side. For our group it was flat and easily flat so it was a non-issue.

    John,

3 T3 cars. Myself, Rob Hines (who lost the dif in the S2k so he showed up in an RX-8) and Paul in his Mazdaspeed Miata. Our dif broke while in impound.

    Results...

    Marty:

Since it was an SCR event and I didn't have to race until Sunday (One Day National), my crew chief and I worked a corner Saturday afternoon. I was in turn six working the yellow (my back to the traffic and facing the apex of 6). Charles whacked you so many times the corner captian ran out of incident forms and ink in his pen!

The Soltice is amazingly fast. You can see it in the video, it goes anywhere and sticks. Didn't look like a fair fight, so I was glad to see you hold him off.

Thanks, I had a good time and nobody got hurt besides some bumpers. I think thats pretty cool that you were working the corners prior to your race, Thanks!!

    Marty,

I guess your car has some way of attracting Pontiac emblems?  This is the second time, right?  Big Smile

Actually, its the 3rd!!  I got punted at VIR this past spring by the same GXP. As for Chris. he was just trying to speed me up so I could catch the car in front of me, I think thats what his story was :)

    Re: CMP Nationals

That was just a bump draft from Chris. If Marty ran a proper handling car and not a unwieldy boat Chris wouldn't have to do bump draft him. See, it's all your fault Marty! Stick out tongue

Somehow I figured it would end up my fault :) I guess the good news is it's better to be hit in the rear than to hit the other guy in the rear, least I know Im in front of somebody.

You did good to get in front and stay there, your bumper might not think so much though. But the good news is we have voted and for the 13 hour it has been determined everything that goes wrong, is your fault, congrats! Big Smile
