Brian,  since you haven't been autocrossing as much lately, you should probably stick to a slower class like D-Stock while you get your skills back up to par.   Big Smile

When is the tour at HPT?  I know Shawn had stated that someone may be able to leave a car at his place for a couple of weeks until Nat's.

Jacobs needs to get on the ball and register...all the good numbers are going to be gone!  Plus, I enjoyed competing with him in 06 at Nat's & at the Atlanta Tour this year.  I want to compete against him with a healthy car.  The car in Atl was not good on D2.  After arriving home, found the Koni's were busted and thought, where would I have been if the car was healthy.

Scott, there's no HPT tour. Its in Kansas City at the Truman Sports Complex, not HPT.

    Nationals 2008 Hotels

If anyone is looking for hotel deals for Nationals, I was able to book a room at the Comfort Inn in Topeka on Wanamaker through hotwire for $45 a night.  Thats more than half off the price on the comfort inn website.  Anyone ever stay there??  I have had pretty good luck with hotwire in the past.

    Re: Nationals 2008 Hotels

We are staying at Candlewood suites on Wannamaker.  We have stayed there in 06 & 07.  People are nice, rooms are clean, and the beds are VERY comfortable.

BTW, Co-driver position filled.  Thanks to all for the inquiries.  All will be revealed in good time on the who is going to take the Civic to the championship.  Devil  With all the co-drivers in the class siging up, looks like we will have at LEAST 24 so far.  We need more peoples and get us up into the 30's.  That'd be a great size class!

Stop *** footing around. We know that its either David or Brian and from what you're saying its most likely Brian, since you probably couldn't resist free tires.

Brian, it would be a pleasure to have someone of your driving caliber in my car.  However, my year long co-driver has been able to make arrangements to come and drive with me again this year.... David Patrick.  If something falls through, the seat will be yours if you have not made other arrangements with someone else.  HS this year will be the most competitive class in the whole event.  Why, because of the caliber of drivers in it and there is NO clear-cut winner that stands out as the forerunner to win.

But thank you for your interest in my car.Smile

    Scott,

No big deal, I was just givin you some crap,  I am about 50/50 if I can make it to Nats or not, which is why I am not pursuing a ride that seriously.  I do agree HS looks like a lot of fun, I can't believe I just said that... Smile  Anyway good luck.

Kia and Dan were testing some tire options just this past week.  I'm 95% sure they'll be there running HS, although Dan's also mentioned maybe bringing the FSP car instead.
