0 Replies and 744 Views Tire Mounting  744  0 Started by  jasyatz Have had quite a few calls and emails regarding my availability for mounting tires. I'm free just about every Saturday and Sunday for while you wait and drink my beer service. If you want to drop a set off, contact me and I'll unlock the storage area. Mount and balance still only $15 per tire, now includes disposal of old tire. $10 for mount only and flips. Jeff jasyatzgmail.com

0 Replies and 988 Views Introductions and Wheel Advice  988  0 Started by  Lava5.0 Hi Everyone,     After a gentle shove from one of my co-workers, this past summer was my first introduction to autocrossing.  I have to say it is something I am really enjoying.  Everyone I have met at NNJR has been incredibly helpful and sincerely wanted to help, so to begin, I just want to say Thanks.  First a little about myself and the car.  I am a 25 years old and love tinkering with the car.  I am a huge Mustang fan.  As such I daily dri...

2 Replies and 6124 Views New to the Community.  6124  2 Started by  dov Hi All,  My name is Dov, I'm currently a graduate student in San Diego but will be moving to New Jersey to take a one year post-doc position at Rutgers in September. I've been autocrossing for about 10 years and usually end up being administratively active (I've been a board member in every autocross community I've been a part of).  I'd like to continue to race when I'm in Jersey. So I'm trying to figure out what my options are. It seems far to ridiculous to move cross country with bo...

1 Replies and 1386 Views Hillclimbing  1386  1 Started by  62S7 After autocrossing my '62 Super 7 for 35 years, I decided to try hillclimbing this year. The hill events are just like an auto-x, with 3rd and 4th gear thrown in!!!! The events are 2 hours from Met Life Stadium in Northeast Pa. I've done 3 different hills so far, and I am having the time of my life with the Lotus. They have autocross classes. I know a lot of the drivers who come to Met Life would kick ass on the hills. Anyone interested give me a blast. Go to pahillclimb.net for info.

My Name is Jason, and well, as the title states, I'm interested in coming this Saturday to the Nassau Coliseum autocross event and would like to introduce myself here before going. 1 Replies and 1845 Views New to Solo and back in NJ after 8 years in the south  1845  1 Started by  mermaid13 Although I was born and raised in NJ, I moved to the south when I was still quite young. 8 years later, I'm back. Needless to say, I don't know many people. I have only attended/participated in one solo event. I did have a blast and have wanted to continue since that time! (It was the last event of that season.) I'm really looking forward to attending another event, but I'm having trouble distinguishing what events are for who. Any pushes in the right direction would be awesome. I would de...

0 Replies and 1520 Views Looking for someone to help roll fenders  1520  0 Started by  BLOZ UP I'd like to get my rear fenders rolled, just a bit. I've trimmed then back a tad but it isn't quite enough. I'm looking for a 45 degree angle or less, if possible. What I'd like to avoid is having the fenders look rolled on the outside. Not a fan of the cheap DIY rolled look. Car is a 280Z. Camber isn't adjustable at the moment, but is already a degree and half or so from the factory.

Any input will be appreciated.

1 Replies and 1629 Views Course Designs  1629  1 Started by  danny2747 The last event had an awesome course! I love courses that flow smoothly, do not punish harshly, and reward smoothness. More than that, I love courses that use very few cones and have wide gates, allowing for multiple lines. I mean courses where you have to think a bit. Even if they favor faster cars, they increase the fun factor by quite a bit. Great job and thanks to the designer! One does not need to use every cone the club owns to make a fun, long, fast course!
