Come on, I know there are more than just 2 cars coming for sts2 in toledo. It's a great site, flat, moderately grippy if you are going against the concrete grain, and easy to reach for the east coast..... We had 13 people in DC, now 4 in toledo :(

I really really don't want to get bumped, have you seen the sts2 pro index? WTF is up with that?

Dammit! What happened to Cone? He must have backed out. I'd offer my car if someone wants to come to Indy and pick it up on the way. It is fresh off a Peru Tour win and was less than a second off the fastest STS guys.

Edit: The car is a 90 Miata with the typical STS2 set up.

Now I never claimed to be a gent or anything else...don't go off ruining my reputation as "Assistant SCCA Monetary Support and OPEC Contributor" as apparently Lehman (aka Mr. David) and I are either to crazy or stupid that we keep showing up and having a good time.

I'd be happy to put either or both of you in my car but I just can't get it there. Someone would need to come to Indy to get it. Contact me if anyone can work that out.

That seems like a no-brainer. Indy is not far away!

So Geoff, I guess this means you're running the CRX this weekend?

No Mike, we're running Gus's Miata. I would drive mine to the event for someone to use it but I made other plans to get there that I can not break.

    We'll see you there.

Where are you around Indy? I think we might be able to swing by on thursday and then drive up to toledo on friday AM. Can you drive it back after the event? or would it need to be transported back?

    thx

    Ian

I could drive it back. I am on the NE side of Indy, just about 5 minutes from I69.

Hmm, it's like almost $175 in extra fuel to go over to indy and back up. Is there anyone else from the Indy area coming up? Andrew, where are you coming from and would you be willing to drive a miata up?

We could also drive down on friday morning in the CRX, Geoff, what time are you leaving to head up to the event site?

    thx

    Ian

We planned on leaving for Toledo at about 9am. That should put us there close to 1pm if not a little earlier.

The car is in the NE side of Indianapolis. The suburb is called Fishers. It is 196 miles from my house to the event site. That would be a long haul out of the way for you.

Edit: Andrew, I am almost exactly one hour south of Grissom.

It looks like we have one, maybe two more for STS2 so we should have a class.
