4 Replies and 8585 Views RSX-S to H Street; Why Not 2000 Celica GT?  8585  4 Started by  Paxman As we know, SCCA injected lots of testosterone, hormones and steroids into the 'new' H Street Class, to save it from extinction. The RSX-S has just been added for 2018. 200HP cars are commonplace there now, while the NA Mini still gives many of them fits. So, why then, has the 2000 Celica GT again been denied placement there Getting older, and certainly out of place in the current G Street. Seems a natural to me. Just curious. Thx.

1 Replies and 863 Views 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE  863  1 Started by  lost won The Camaro Holy Grail is back.  And it works quite well, thank you, Al.  Team Camaro pulled off another magical mystery tour, and got past all the bean counters, and lawyers at corporate; somehow.  It's for sale at a Chevy dealer near you. Question is, for we autocross track rats:  WHAT do we do with it  Oh, sure it's heavy, it's big, it can't possibly handle a tight autocross course, right  Hmmmm. I just followed one around for four laps yesterday.  It won ...

3 Replies and 8947 Views Miata - disconnect rear sway bar legal?  8947  3 Started by  mrtwo1991 Rules Question I have a 2002 Miata in E Street.  I have replaced the front sway bar with a larger bar.  Some other auto-x people suggest also disconnecting the stock rear sway bar. SCCA Rule 13.7.A states 'substitution, addition or removal of a single anti-roll bar and supporting hardware (brackets, endlinks, bushing, etc) is permitted' The sway bar could be left in place with the end links disconnect, so technically it is not 'removed'.  But disconnecting the sway bar essentia...

2 Replies and 3945 Views OEM wheel options/restrictions?  3945  2 Started by  roninsoldier83 Hello! So, I own a base 2016 VW Golf R and would like to run the car in B-Street. The base model comes with 18x7.5' wheels, but there's an option package that includes 19x8' wheels. The caveat is that in order to get the 19x8' wheels from the factory, you have to order the Nav/DCC package. I know about he /- 1' rule and it mentions standard wheels. With the rule, a Golf R that came with 19x8' wheels could run 18x8' wheels. Since the 19x8' wheels are optional on the car, can I run 18x8' w...

3 Replies and 3384 Views Stock Class steering wheel rules  3384  3 Started by  MrMx5 I know that this topic has been talked to death but I am still curious about something and haven't been able to find a direct answer. I have a 97 miata r package (conversion) and I know that if a car came with a airbag you are not permitted to change the wheel, the answer is probably no but why couldn't I find a OEM airbag wheel from another car that is the same Diameter and weight and use that to replace my raggedy beat up 4 spoke NA steering wheel. I know of multiple people who run at national...

My current plan is to drive it in this set up for this season and most likely move to the street touring class. From my current research the most I have learned is to walk the course, slow and steady until I learn the course. Any tips or tricks for handling formalities for an rsx wou...

Well are there any SAC members out there with some insight as to where it is going to go. 137hp 179 tq and about the same weight as the current car. Can't go in HS would be an underdog in DS so maybe GS. Probably would dominate G, what do ya think
