3 Replies and 957 Views Racing Gas  957  3 Started by  Harvey West Is anyone else as unhappy as I am about having to use track racing gas (at $4 bucks per gallon or more) in AS Unleaded 92 octane or 100 octane low lead aviation gas have worked fine in my Mustang, but I'm concerned they won't pass testing at the track. Last year, my aviation gas passed one test, and failed another. I'm not trying to cheat, I just don't like to get ripped off. The T1 and T2 drivers can legally use unleaded 92 or 93 octane unleaded, why can't we I'm afraid the comp board thi...

2 Replies and 783 Views MSD HEI Replacement Unit Experience?  783  2 Started by  Ken Grammer Has anyone had any experience with MSD's HEI replacement kit I just purchased one for my Camaro and I'm frankly a little concerned about a few things.First, the coil comes with a 'power tower' that doesn't seem to engange securely in the coil. I'm worried that it might come loose. Second, the HEI replacement coil cover didn't seem to fit the distributer very well. I'm worried about moisture in the top of the distributor.I'm pleased with the rest of the unit though. So I guess my question i...

0 Replies and 801 Views Fuel cell  801  0 Started by  Ted Warning My ITE (will be AS for 2001) Camaro didn't have a fuel cell so I'm shopping for one. I wanted one that fits in the stock tank location to avoid building a bulkhead in the back. All I found so far is one from Fuel Safe for $1200! Ouch!! I had thought going to the stock location instead of the tail of the car I could get away (safely) with a 'cheaper' cell and not have to make a bunch of changes to the car (I am on a seriously tight budget). Any thoughts or recomendationsThanks!
