0 Replies and 165 Views Class of car  165  0 Started by  z.ling111 I'm current looking and daydreaming about scca racing. I really want to drive something with downforce and paddles (i'm also a nerd so I would be looking for a car with a mychron). I've been looking at arrive and drive packages, f1000 ,f2000 and prototypes. f1000 seems to very cool as the cars use a motorcycle engine and remind me of radicals. Most of my time i've been on the websites and came to the conclusion that it's either rich people or people that are trying to climb the motorsport ladder...

0 Replies and 1384 Views Old sports racer looking for info  1384  0 Started by  thewelder I bought a old sports racer out of Florida. It originally came out of Texas. It has a tech sticker from 2005. It says 'SCCA ER tech 2005'. The car was made by KBS sometime in the 80's I think. I didn't get a log book and would like to know more about it. I have the ad info from when it was sold originally. Other than that I don't know much about it. Thanks. Chad.

3 Replies and 18353 Views DSR racing  18353  3 Started by  hamslam007 Hello, I was wondering how active DSR racing is in the East coast (I recently moved to North Delaware). I would like to design a DSR race car and compete but I was wonder how often these cars are raced. Once a month Twice perhaps Also, I was wondering if these cars are the most popular class vs say F1000.  I am looking for a class in which you have full design freedom. Thank you

6 Replies and 6543 Views Rarity of two seat sports racers?  6543  6 Started by  ffrgtm I'm looking to get a two seat car that would fall under the classification of a D or C sports Racer (DSR CSR). So far the only cars I can find that would accommodate a passenger are made by Radical (sr3, sr4, sr5, sr8) or ADR (adr3). Can anyone help me find any other cars out there that are similar to these, but at less of a premium I've seen toyota world sports racers that are close to my cost, but all are driver seating only. Any ideas anyone

2 Replies and 5061 Views Fresh out of college and finally ready to start racing  5061  2 Started by  nskyline34 Hey guys, Just looking for some guidance and direction. I've finally graduated and I'm ready to start racing. I have aspirations to get to star mazda or into GT2. I know I need to start low so that's why I'm here. I'm not 100 sure what the path is to get there for either (i know they are a little different). I have a reasonable racing background for someone who's only 23 and has been going to school full time. I've raced 125 shifters for a few year, motocross for 20, have been involved with off...

0 Replies and 2176 Views Looking for 76B and 77B Formula Atlantic cars  2176  0 Started by  SGH Hello, I am trying to locate two very specific chassis of March Formula Atlantic race cars from the mid 70's. These cars were raced by my uncle Cliff Hansen in the Canadian Atlantic Players Challenge. I have the specific chassis numbers and will share those when the time comes. The 76B was last sold into the St. Louis region in 1981or 2 and rumored to be converted into a CSR. The 77B was last owned by Frank Bramante in NorCal. I have been in touch with the St. Louis region execs, but figured...

Almost impossible to duplicate on any event test day. That's why I am doing it. Only 6 cars. Hopefully will attract o...
