I'm looking to get a two seat car that would fall under the classification of a D or C sports Racer (DSR CSR). So far the only cars I can find that would accommodate a passenger are made by Radical (sr3, sr4, sr5, sr8) or ADR (adr3). Can anyone help me find any other cars out there that are similar to these, but at less of a premium? I've seen toyota world sports racers that are close to my cost, but all are driver seating only. Any ideas anyone?

You may want to look into running a Sports 2000 chassis -- these are requried to have room for two seats, and the engine bay can acomodate anything from the 2L Ford that Sports 2000 uses, or any of the two-liter engine options listed in the CSR rules.

There were two higher-horsepower options used for past pro-series -- the Cosworth YAC (twin-cam dual weber carbs), and the Olds Quad-4.    There are still a few of these cars floating around.    Check out these two forums for Sports Racer information, and leads on cars for sale.

Did you look at the Fenske G2? It comes in both single and dual-seat configurations (and can be swapped back & forth) and can be set up as either an ASR or CSR. Go to http://www.midwestspecracer.com/G2.asp for more info.

Check the GCR, but I don't think it meets either P1 or P2 rules.
