0 Replies and 1359 Views Open Car Roll Cage Clarification  1359  0 Started by  wrandleman I apologize if the topic has been covered however search is returning a 404. I've been reviewing the roll over protection rules and had a question related to 9.4.B.2.d: 'Open cars must have 2 braces extending forward from the main hoop and attaching to the front hoop, not more than 6 inches below the top of the front and main hoop. It is recommended that the front and rear braces attach to the main hoop as close as possible to each other.' Does this describe the pictured bracing http://...

0 Replies and 1725 Views Looking for dad's 1972 Pinto  1725  0 Started by  rjkracer1 Thanks for looking. I am trying to find my dad's 1972 IMSA/B-sedan Pinto. It was purpose built from a new trunk car, with IMSA running lights, fuel cell with quick fill ability, special FORD motorsport rear leafs. The car competed in the 1973 IMSA support race, finishing 9th in class. I have attached a photo from the 1973 Pocono 200 race. It was sold in 1974/5 o someone for competition. I am looking to restore and vintage race it. &91;IMAGE:11488&93;

0 Replies and 1370 Views Looking for an ITA Miata clutch  1370  0 Started by  sanyogxs7 Hey I'm looking for a good, cost-effective, legal clutch to put on my 1997 ITA Miata (1.8L). Right now I'm looking at the F1 Racing Stage 3 Ceramic Sprung Miata Clutch Kit on Goodwin's site. My biggest problem seems to be finding a good clutch that maintains the stock OD (8.5' or 215mm). Is there anybody out there with a 94 ITA miata that can share which clutch they went with Thanks in advance.

Apparently I now need to have a threaded fuel line connection at the carb.    What's this look like Can I drill out the existing pressed-in brass hose barb, tap the hole and thread in another hose barb and connect the fuel line with a traditional hose clamp Or do I need to use threaded hose ends on the fuel line   Thanks! 1 Replies and 11428 Views 240z Classification Help  11428  1 Started by  PaulMacFarlane I'm trying to make sure I understand the classification for my 240z.  It was recommended that I go ITS or EP. The engine is basic.  Stock cam, etc.  but it does have a 4bbl single carb instead of the 2 SU carbs. I understand that  disqualifies it  It also has a header which I believe is ok in every class. The EP specs for the 240z don't mention the carb (ITS does) but it does specify cam lift. Both ITS and EP limit wheel size to 15x7 (sucky size) Car is caged (...

0 Replies and 2314 Views HELP me find my old car ITS 240Z Datsun!  2314  0 Started by  raceydavid Need Help: I am trying to find my old Datsun 240Z as I would like to restore it. I won the AARC in 1996 then sold the car to Scott Redwine from the Tulsa area in 1997 to help finance a Ralt RT-4. Anyway Scott drove it several years in the Hallet area and is no longer part of SCCA. I have tried to contact Scott through SCCA but he is no longer a memeber and the phone numbers I have on file are out dated. Any leads would be deeply appreciated! Thanks David Vande Berg
