0 Replies and 2382 Views SCCA Bracket Enduro @ Thompson Speedway - June 5-7  2382  0 Started by  rp1 The weekend of June 5-7, 2015 will herald the SCCA's first ever Bracket Enduro event at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, CT. This event is the EASIEST way to get involved in wheel-to-wheel racing. With an incredibly simple format (any car that can runs ITR or slower times and has a GCR safety legal is allowed to participate), great value ($1000 flat fee per team - no matter how many drivers) and NO RACE LICENSE REQUIREMENT, this is a race weekend you need to experience! 0 Replies and 2022 Views Open Car Roll Cage Clarification  2022  0 Started by  Bill Randleman I apologize if the topic has been covered however search is returning a 404. I've been reviewing the roll over protection rules and had a question related to 9.4.B.2.d: 'Open cars must have 2 braces extending forward from the main hoop and attaching to the front hoop, not more than 6 inches below the top of the front and main hoop. It is recommended that the front and rear braces attach to the main hoop as close as possible to each other.' Does this describe the pictured bracing http://...

0 Replies and 2835 Views Looking for dad's 1972 Pinto  2835  0 Started by  rjkracer1 Thanks for looking. I am trying to find my dad's 1972 IMSA/B-sedan Pinto. It was purpose built from a new trunk car, with IMSA running lights, fuel cell with quick fill ability, special FORD motorsport rear leafs. The car competed in the 1973 IMSA support race, finishing 9th in class. I have attached a photo from the 1973 Pocono 200 race. It was sold in 1974/5 o someone for competition. I am looking to restore and vintage race it. &91;IMAGE:11488&93;

0 Replies and 1736 Views Looking for an ITA Miata clutch  1736  0 Started by  Ian Hey I'm looking for a good, cost-effective, legal clutch to put on my 1997 ITA Miata (1.8L). Right now I'm looking at the F1 Racing Stage 3 Ceramic Sprung Miata Clutch Kit on Goodwin's site. My biggest problem seems to be finding a good clutch that maintains the stock OD (8.5' or 215mm). Is there anybody out there with a 94 ITA miata that can share which clutch they went with Thanks in advance.

0 Replies and 1834 Views Threaded carb fitting?  1834  0 Started by  johntennyson Hi- I've missed the last couple of years and want to get back into the mix with my dear old ITB '72 BMW 2002, which I last raced in 2011. Apparently I now need to have a threaded fuel line connection at the carb.    What's this look like Can I drill out the existing pressed-in brass hose barb, tap the hole and thread in another hose barb and connect the fuel line with a traditional hose clamp Or do I need to use threaded hose ends on the fuel line   Thanks! 1 Replies and 29023 Views 240z Classification Help  29023  1 Started by  Paul MacFarlane I'm trying to make sure I understand the classification for my 240z.  It was recommended that I go ITS or EP. The engine is basic.  Stock cam, etc.  but it does have a 4bbl single carb instead of the 2 SU carbs. I understand that  disqualifies it  It also has a header which I believe is ok in every class. The EP specs for the 240z don't mention the carb (ITS does) but it does specify cam lift. Both ITS and EP limit wheel size to 15x7 (sucky size) Car is caged (...
