The new owners of the track are planning to build a whole new Road Course, but how far will that g...

5 Replies and 2796 Views PDX at Summit Point in March 2012?? 2796 5 Started by Jeremy Ok here is the thing. The NC region was apparently hosting a PDX along with the SARCC weekend at VIR on the weekend of March 10-12 2012. I took leave to go out there and now I find out that the websites are misinformed and there is no PDX that weekend, so I am looking for a home for the weekend. NASA is doing an HPDE at Road Atlanta that weekend, but I just saw that the DC region is hosting a PDX at Summit Point that weekend. http://www.scca.com/events/index.cfmnext=45&sid=0 I would...

1 Replies and 2112 Views Help needed to identify car 2112 1 Started by OhmDr Hello, I'm new to the SCCA forum and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my question. I was trying to find a section that had information/discussions on race cars from the 1950s, but didn't find anything, so I thought I would start with the Central Division since the car came from Michigan. Back in late 2008 I purchased a fiberglass bodied car with a 1951 Kaiser Henry J chassis and engine (161 CID Kaiser Supersonic/Willys L-Head). The original owner was ran a Tool & Die sho...
