My father owns a 1964 silver Corvette. It was raced in the Central Division during the 1966-68 seasons and also during the 1971-72 seasons. The car was raced by a father and son. The fathers name was John Ruhlin. He also went by the name of Jack Ruhlin. During the seasons he raced(66-68) the car had the number 51 on it. Later in 1971-72 his son John Ruhlin Jr. raced the car. At that time it carried the number 87 on it.I have been trying to locate track photos of the car for my father. He has owned the car for many years now and I am trying to help him with the history of the car. I contacted the SCCA and I recieved a drivers history. It noted the car ran at Blackhawk Farms on 9/5,9/12,9/19 of 1971 and on 5/21,8/20 of 1972. The 5/21 event was won by this car. It also raced at Road America on 9/26/71,6/17,9/24 of 1972. Another race was at Indianopolis Raceway Park on 10/17/71. Is there anyone who can help me locate old photos of the car or grid sheets or anything. I have been trying for years and have come up empty. All help is greatly appreciated

I wish it was. Mr. Ruhlin wasn't listed in the Central Division points untill 1966. The car is a 1964 model and wasn't delivered until spring of 1964 so I am doubtful it is. I sure like the photo though. That time period must have been alot of fun for racing. Thanks alot for the reply!! [:)]
