6 Replies and 821 Views Congrats to the Seattle area drivers in Vancouver!  821  6 Started by  michaelv They really cleaned up at the Kumho Challenge in Vancouver.Of course, as expected, Ron and Karen Babb were fastest times of the day, with lots of cushion. Mike Leuty placed first or second in his class, if I’m not mistaken. I finished third (out of three, woot!) Keith Brown, Abe Douglas, Bud, and the Babbs all finished in the top ten during the regular competition. After the first 40 were whittled down to 20, the Seattle results stood like this: 1) a Babb, 2) the other Babb, 3) Bud, 4) Abe or ...

19 Replies and 1314 Views Full Tread Ecstas on the Street?  1314  19 Started by  megatron For daily useI have this 944 Turbo that I'm going to daily drive this summer. I'm getting it sealed and spiffied up and it needs new tires. I'm not really going to run autocrosses with this car, but I'd like to have some decent tires on it.I could either go Kumho MX like I'm running on my Street Mod M3 (which sees a good deal of street use) or just be 'hardcore' about it and run R-comps on the street.Given the rain here in the Seattle area is mostly 'spit', you guys think it would be OK to ru...
