1 Replies and 972 Views Houston local, want to look at a car?  972  1 Started by  kb_solo2 The joys of Ebay, I am bidding on a car in Houston and was hoping somebody would like to drop by the Dealer and take a look. I'm not looking far pre-purchase inspection just a general impression, both of the condition of the car, and of the dealership. Knowledge of Porsche's would be helpful, but not required. email me for details at kb_solo2 at yahoo dot com Thanks

5 Replies and 1557 Views Trying to judge interest in race vehicle storage/maintence facility in NW Houston, looking for racers feedback.  1557  5 Started by  CarConnection Let me start off by saying if this post violates any of the forums rules, i apologize. I've been trying to find a way to get word out to the folks who frequent TWS, MSR, etc... but there are no forums dedicated to those specific tracks. So i'm hoping that i'll get good feedback here given the SCCA's huge following. What i would like to talk about is what interest there would be in people having a safe place to store there race oriented vehicles during there off-track time. I'm sure that some ...

3 Replies and 1140 Views Texas Tuners  1140  3 Started by  imez2miss I live in Houston and have a fully built miata with IRTB's. I can not seem to find a reliable tuner that can handle a built motor, individual throttle bodies, and an AEM stand alone ECU. My car is currently at Engine Logic. They seem to be the only ones that could get me in or said they can tune my car. I am highly doubting it now. It took them 5 hours to hook up the direct plug and play ecu and spent most of the day trying to adjust the thottle bodies only to tell me that they won't open 100 w...

Hello all! My name is James Wilson, and my family and I will be moving from San Diego CA to the Austin area in July of '08. I hear that there is not much going on in solo directly in Austin, but a good long drive is okay by me. A little background, I have been autocrossing since 1999 in various classes (CSP, ES, GS, STS, STS2, HS). In 2004 I trophied a few times at some Tours in CA and AZ, and had a solid 8th place trophy at Nationals in STS. Skip to 2006, won a ProSolo in STS2 in C...
