Active Topics is the same thing, though it will filter based on the last time you were on the site, you can adjust the time frame with the dropdown (it is just below the first banner ad near the top of the forums)

'Latest Posts' was generally the only thing I ever looked at.  I initially looked at the 'Active Topics' and saw a number of messages, but now it is completely blank.  If I keep the site up and stay logged in, do I see anything?

I liked the "latest posts" list too.  Sometimes I would glance at it, then come back later to respond to something I saw earlier.

For now you have to choose the timeframe on the active topics page. I will make it lengthen by default on the next update next week

What you're looking for is the "Not Read" link.

I know the administrator puts a lot of effort into this site, but what about vbulletin?

Seems like that would make navigation a lot more familiar to people.

On the active topics page click on the dropdown box under the "search" area

Thanks Chris!  That worked perfectly!  Anyway we can get the default to say 1 week?  Or at least where I don't have to click on it every time I visit?

Active Topics now defaults to 24 hours, though you can change the timeframe manually once on the Active Topics page

Is there a way to include/exclude different subforums from the "not read" query?
