The time come to part with our 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 Van with 6.6L Duramax Diesel

    VIN # 1GCHG352061135461

The Van is white with two side doors with windows and rear doors with windows, which are tinted, 30%

Has the HD trailer tow package, with Prodigy brake controller.

Manual windows, no cruise  , factory rubber floor matts throughout.

It took us the better part of a year to locate one ( the one we were looking for ). If you are reading this "FS" post that I am sure that you know these are few and far between.....

We are the second owners. The first owner was in his 50's and commuted up and down the east coast for his business. Therefore, when we purchased at 152k , these were predominately all highway miles. We  received all of his service  history, and we have ours along with Blackstone report (all healthy) ..

The previous owner insulated the inside with PolyShield sheet insulation. It does make a difference in the colder weather, although we rarely drove this in the winter months and if we did, the roads were clear with no snow on the ground. He also installed two strips of vertical E-track . Comes in handy for securing tires .

The Van currently shows 179k and, as with all of our vehicles, has been very well maintained, by Duramax diesel specialists here in NE PA. We have a current CarFax that we can e-mail . You will not likely see many CarFax reports as detailed as this one .... I believe its 4-5 pages of history and maintenance (service) . Very complete and reassuring.

When we took ownership, all fluids were replaced : Motor-Trans-Diff-Coolant- Brake-Power steering . Just something that we always have done. Then you have a starting point .

Under our ownership, along with regular maintenance service , you will find the following has been done recently :

    1) Bilstein HD shocks ( Yellow )

    2) New AC Delco Radiator ... New belts at this service ( Serpentine ) and others.

    3) New Michelin Defender LTX M/S 10ply Tires (alignment when installed)

    4) We have always used Shell  Rotella T-6 Synthetic Oil .

Along with the above ,I'm probably forgetting a few items that we have done .

The Van runs great, as you could expect with the service and maintenance it has had. Please run a CarFax and you will be assured . No accidents under our ownership (2013) to present, and I seriously doubt from the first owner either. I always ask and he certainly seemed like a very honest person.

I guess the only negatives worth mentioning would be :

The previous owned traveled with his buddy ( small terrier dog ) . He chewed a small round area on the right front side drivers seat .I would imagine he was bored when he was alone one time . Never bothers us . There is some material wear on the opposite side of the drivers seat . This is from getting in and out. May be able to be repaired, never bothered us either . The rockers have some oxidation below the front doors (seems to be common in Chevy/GMC ) only appears to be surface .There is a small spot 1/2in-3/4 in forward of the passenger wheel well. There is a small area, about 3 inches x 1"  on the right front corner of the quarter panel , just to the right of the hood corner that is beginning to delaminate, also a common issue with this era Chevy/GMC vans.

I  believe if you would see this vehicle, you would be hard pressed to guess that its an 2006 with 179k. . But then again , its a strong running 6.6L Duramax with a great maintenance history from two conscientious owners .

     Price : $10,000

    Title in hand

We are located in NE Pennsylvania

Please PM with any questions  -  Or,  labs m 2 AT ptd dot net               I will be happy to e-mail  pictures .
