30 Replies and 1632 Views Event 2 Couse Crit  1632  30 Started by  Bryan S
(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
We tried to do a few things differently yesterday. We've fallen into a bit of a rut. James Sarino had a design that had some neat elements on paper, but included a crossover that on closer inspection was too deep into the run. That might explain why we missed some markings that might have helped novices find the course b...

3 Replies and 593 Views Why is there no points page on stlsolo for 2006?  593  3 Started by  John P I was just looking over the results on stlsolo.org and I don't see any points pages for 2006. For all previous years there is a points link as well as an indexed results link for each event. Is there a reason why these are no longer posted

Hey all, first post here. I'm pretty damn interested in getting started in some SCCA action. I have a 2005 Mazda 3s 5spd MTX thats lowered on Mazdaspeed (Eibach Prokit) springs, with Mazdaspeed struts up front and shocks in the rear. I ditched the 17x6.5 wheels with the 205/50/17 Goodyear Eagle RS-A's in favor of some 17x7 Exel wheels with Toyo Proxes Fz4 215/45/17. I don't know a single thing about SCCA or Solo, or whatever it is that you perfer to call it. But I do know that I'm tired...

12 Replies and 784 Views Solo Trials - any interest in the St. Louis Region?  784  12 Started by  John P So I was just reading the latest Fastrack and under the Solo category was something that really caught my eye. Higher speed solo events called Solo Trials. This seems perfect for those who are uneasy with attending very high speed events such as this past weeked PDX. Or for those who simply don't want to stress their cars as much as track days do. So who in the St. Louis region would be interested in these types of events Taken from the June Fastrack: APPENDIX D - SOLO TRIALS RULES I. PU...

0 Replies and 429 Views Waiver Workers Guidelines  429  0 Started by  bschnard Hi Everyone, Well finally the second event of the year for St. Louis is here. I would like to present some guidelines for all or our great gate workers when getting waivers signed. After last event I collected all of the waivers that had been seigned up until the time I left for the day and realized that there were a few things that we could all stand to review. I also felt that it would not be a bad thing for every one to take a look at the guides so I decided to post my thoughts h...

2 Replies and 569 Views Redline Time Attack  569  2 Started by  JamesE Okay so this isn't an SCCA sanctioned event, but it is similar to a SCCA Club Trial. I recently attended the Redline Time Attack at the BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Pennsylvania. It was an absolute blast! I hope that everyone enjoys these track days as much as I do so we can see some growth in the SCCA PDX / Club Trial program. BeaveRun was a fantastic course for this style event. If you aren't willing to take the 10 hour drive to see for yourself, check out the videos on my website.
