We had to run in XP because new parts for his car didn't come in till after we were in Milwaukee. It was a fun event, great course (mid to high 50 sec each day), good asphalt surface, great people organizing the event and great competitors in our class and in our adopted class of SM. Well we tried to be different this time and we were. I was very pleased to find that the course drove much better than it walked. For this event let's talk about the course and the configuration on the site. I thought starting from the south worked well from an operational point of view. The drag stageing lanes made an excellent grid. The area to the south a pretty good paddock, although not many people took advantage of that. The Vee has been at Tuxedo Park Racing so Steven Burkett could install new pedals and convert the brakes from single circuit to dual circuit. Due to my crazy work schedule, I couldn't pick up the car before Steven and Sheila left fot the June Sprints.
