0 Replies and 469 Views Free Toyos!  469  0 Started by  TeamSlowdotOrg Get them out of my way! I have 4 205/50-15 Toyo RA-1's for free. They have 0/32' of tread left in some areas of the tires and some tread in others, but these tires are still good for several sessions before they cord on a light-ish car after they stop showing any tread. Great tires for dry track days if you're out there to learn to be consistent. I'll have 4 more in similar in a couple of weeks. Recipient pays for shipping, or they can be picked up in the St. Louis area. Give me an...

1 Replies and 551 Views Solo Equipment workers needed  551  1 Started by  Danno3 Wanted: workers to fill two specialty work assignments at Regional and Divisional Solo events this season. Working either of these positions fulfills your work assignment for the event. Preference will be given to someone who wants to learn the specialty and take the job for the whole season (although if you have to miss an event here or there we can work around it). We've decided to try splitting this into two jobs so it requires less time commitment. Job 1: Equipment Setup worker. Mu...

4 Replies and 675 Views Solo Event 3 "Heads Up"  675  4 Started by  Bryan S Many will agree that our course layouts at Gateway have become a bit predictable. &91|-)&93 This Sunday in an effort to break out of the rut we will be exploring a different way to use the site. We plan on turning things 180 degrees, starting and finishing from the south instead of the north as we have done for the past several seasons. We plan to rope off the north end at the concrete light standards. Enter as you usually do, proceed west along the grandstands as we do now. Grid will be in t...

6 Replies and 809 Views St. Louis @ Walnut Ridge MiDiv  809  6 Started by  Bryan S Looking over the entry list, only myself, Dave, Beth, Jan and Lynn making the trip down. See Lynn's post elsewhere. I understand late fees will be waived and there will be opportunities for seat time beyond a typical MiDiv. If you are not going to Peru for the Pro, consider making the trip south. Its not a long drive and a great opportunity for seat time.

30 Replies and 1908 Views Event 2 Couse Crit  1908  30 Started by  Bryan S
(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
We tried to do a few things differently yesterday. We've fallen into a bit of a rut. James Sarino had a design that had some neat elements on paper, but included a crossover that on closer inspection was too deep into the run. This would have limited car spacing and made the event longer. So we opted to delete the crossover, following the general intent. We had some trouble working out a few sections. That might explain why we missed some markings that might have helped novices find the course b...
