At least I'm not able to see them for some reason. Anybody else not being able to see the avatars now on the threads and is this a site concern issue I'm sureI'm not the only one that likes to see people's avatars/pics on the threads.

3 Replies and 1211 Views Loud Drivers  1211  3 Started by  FritzSpeed   I was just reading the June Fastrack. I'm not an English major, but to me this reads like the drivers volume level is factored in when taking sound level readings: “If a driver in a vehicle exceeds 100 dBA, the driver will be allowed an attempt to reduce the sound level of the vehicle before his/her next scheduled run that day'  The current wording of Appendix 1 seemed OK to me in this regard.

I know that it was originally Turpin Speedway (a dirt track) and was paved when it became Suntana sometime around 1970 but trying to pin down the exact year. Anyone a history buff on here

5 Replies and 2058 Views Hoosier ST6 - April fools’ joke  2058  5 Started by  prodogdriver a Hoosier ST6 performance street tire that was made as an April fools’ joke by a creative internet forum member and it's still circulating on the internet.  Hoosier and Tire Rack did not participate in the creation or circulation of the announcement and no such tire exists. (they did a nice job on the pic)

3 Replies and 1956 Views RULE CHANGE: OPEN TOP CARS ALLOWED IN PDX?  1956  3 Started by  theredone I was talking with someone in Columbus and they had hard of a pending rule change. This would allow open top cars without a roll bar to drive on the track such as Mid-Ohio, Putnam, and Gingerman at speed. It would open the door to more people for driver experience / PDX type events.    Is this a rumor or can someone point me in a direction.

0 Replies and 716 Views Suggestion to Ford  716  0 Started by  Jerry Doctor I assume you've heard of the 50 year Limited Edition Mustang and that there will be 1964 of them. Those of us that were around in those days (I was 19. Sigh.) immediately recognize that is the wrong number. So here's my idea. Ford already has a 2015 Mustang that they cut up to take to the top of the Empire State Building. When they bring it back down, only reassemble part of it, paint it white, and have the proper number of 50 year Limited Edition cars- 1964 1/2! Jerry Doctor ---------...
