A few weeks ago, my friend took me to an autox event in Bremerton Speedway in WA. He is driving an AE86, but I drive an Integra. I rode in his car and another guys car(89 civic hatch). After riding in the civic, I had a grin from ear to ear and now im hooked. I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone cus everyone was busy and I had to run. Bad combo on figuring out where I stand as a rook...

3 Replies and 1240 Views New guy here - are these Hoosiers still good?  1240  3 Started by  dmontayre@gmail.com Hey everyone, I'm looking to finally track my Cayman and my buddy gave me a bunch of used Hoosier A6 and R6 pairs. They all show 2 lines on the tread and the wear holes still have some depth to them but they look to have melted/bubbled from heat on the top of the sidewall and on the tread. There's no dry rot on the sidewalls. Here are some example pics:

3 Replies and 1309 Views Loud Drivers  1309  3 Started by  FritzSpeed   I was just reading the June Fastrack. I'm not an English major, but to me this reads like the drivers volume level is factored in when taking sound level readings: “If a driver in a vehicle exceeds 100 dBA, the driver will be allowed an attempt to reduce the sound level of the vehicle before his/her next scheduled run that day'  The current wording of Appendix 1 seemed OK to me in this regard.

3 Replies and 2115 Views RULE CHANGE: OPEN TOP CARS ALLOWED IN PDX?  2115  3 Started by  theredone I was talking with someone in Columbus and they had hard of a pending rule change. This would allow open top cars without a roll bar to drive on the track such as Mid-Ohio, Putnam, and Gingerman at speed. It would open the door to more people for driver experience / PDX type events.    Is this a rumor or can someone point me in a direction.
