Mark Kowalski of Las Cruces, who suffered vertigo causing him to miss Sat's race came back strong to finish 3rd in the seven car SM field of race 1. Ken Daby from the Corvette Club passed away yesterday from complications from a perforated ulcer surgery. Although he was very active in the Corvette circles, he had only started to enter some SCCA events. 1 Replies and 611 Views Road Rally  611  1 Started by  old yaller Pan Am held the first Road Rally of 2008. Five rallist's participated and was a competitive and fun event. More members and non-members need to enjoy this type of event, you will see parts of the Southwest you have never seen before or maybe could ever even find again! Great fun, and I enjoyed not getting lost as usual, thanks to my able navigator Don. Look forward to other events, at least I do not get car sick in these.

We have had a BoD and a core group of helpers that have created great club racing results on a National level as well as road rallys and a fantastic solo championship! So to Luis, Dave, Karl, Don, Bob, Mike, Jeff, Stan, Jose, Lester, Jesse and John, I tip my hat and say thanks for all the hard work, dedication and friendship. You made it happen!!
