2 Replies and 620 Views Looking for one week storage in Milwaukee before tour  620  2 Started by  JT_TT So here's my story, i'm from winnipeg manitoba (so 1.5 hours north of grand forks ND) and i would like to do the Peru tour and the Milwaukee tour. however with them being back to back that's two trips back and forth essentially in the same direction (both times i drive thru Madison) and nobody from my local club is able to make it to the Peru event so then i'm driving the whole thing alone, however a couple others are planning on making the Milwaukee event. So here's what i'd like to do, i...

11 Replies and 1229 Views Anybody serious about trying to get an indexed street tire class at National level??  1229  11 Started by  Cole Heh guys. C.J. and I made the 14 hour drive up there last year to prove a point. I'm having trouble getting folks to come to the Dixie NT to make a similar point by signing up to run a single indexed class. I contacted Martin Sports Car Club in Orlando where their stock drivers run street tires. I'm going to make a similar appeal to Mississippi region which has a heavy street tire contingent. I sent out an e-mail to surrounding regions and my own Wiregrass folks. I pushed to get an indexed cla...

I have listed events from the 4 larger clubs in the area. All of these events are very well run, safe, have great course design, and follow rules/classes set forth by the SCCA. There are other smaller clubs in the area, but they are second tier to these clubs. For a list of all of the events in the area see &91URL=http://planet-torque.com/sche.php&93this schedule&91/URL&93 on Planet Torque Motorspor...

(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
It's official, I finally bought a car. 1991 ES MR2 out of the Detroit area.  Bare bones, ready for ES.  No PS, no AC, no ABS, hardtop, new motor and mechanicals, trailer hitch, 18 wheels and tires, great shape.I needed something the exact opposite of the Evo to learn.  It should be an interesting year. :)  I didn't know it was possible for a car to be even less comfortable on long drives than the Evo, but the MR2 won that hands down.  Driving back in scattered snow showers on Kumho Summer tires...

This would be on what was my old STS Civic, it need new rocker panels and some other rust repair. It doesn't need to be a great paint job, but I don't want it to look like it was done in my garage. If you know of a shop that does work for cheap, or if you know a buddy who does work on the side let me know.
