http://www.scca-milwaukee.org/solo/2010/10sched.html has results and sound info from yesterday's event at Miller Park. Thanks to everyone for coming out on a cool Mother's Day. Chris gave us a challenging course, so challenging the course designer coned his every run. &91:)&93 Perhaps we can have less cone intensive and more V8 friendly courses for the next couple of events. Thanks,Jeff

8 Replies and 1164 Views Milw SCCA Solo 1 results posted  1164  8 Started by  cashmo http://www.scca-milwaukee.org/solo/2010/10sched.html has results from last Sunday's first Solo event. It includes the sound readings taken. Our sound limits are 100db 50 fee. For reasonable first offenses, you will be asked to fix sound issue for the next event. An unreasonably loud vehicle will not be able to participate until the sound level is reduced. Not only does this help with site retention it's safer for grid and corner workers hearing. Thanks,Jeff

Hey all, I need to get the obnoxious beast tuned by someone, and I'm not sure who to take it to. Anyone know of a good Corvette tuner in SE wisconsin that still plays with LT4's and LT1'sI considered going up to Dough Rippie, but that's a heck of a drive just for a tune. Does anyone know anything about West Bend Dyno They seem a little too... universal for my liking, but I don't know of anyone who's dealt with them. I talked to Corvette Sports about it and he recommended a guy out of Illin...

As many of you know, a local brewery, Red Eye, sponsors the Lucky Lugnut Civic. Many of you have tried thier beer, and will again!! They are in a contest to see who can get 1500 Facebook fans first. Please do this as a favor to me: 1) Got to Red Eye Brewing on Facebook. 2) Become a fan. 3) Post a note on the thread that I posted on saying Pat Washburnasked you to become a fan. 4) That's it! I'll be watching...please...

0 Replies and 589 Views One last try for CIR  589  0 Started by  BSTON I'm trying to get a group together one last time this winter for a trip down to Chicago Indoor Racing. We're hoping to get a large enough group to commit to heading down to the Buffalo Grove location on March 14th so that we can get another Super GP going. That's three 15 lap qualifiers and a 30 lap championship race for around $90 if my memory is correct. If you are interested in going you can post here or send an email to me at b_stone_68hotmail.com

I helped finish the build but unfortunately couldn't attend the competition because of my TA thing... They ended up finishing 5th overall and got the editors choice award for an outstanding job on our rookie year! 0 Replies and 628 Views Tire Testing  628  0 Started by  cbailey Hey all,I'm going to wing this one out there to see if anyone's interested in planning ahead a bit. This past year especially I know I had conversations with a few folks about the difficulty of tire testing on limited budgets with all the ST-legal tires popping up. So, here's an option that some of us kicked around. Is anyone interested in trying to compile a list of people with similar wheel sizes and offsets such that we could coordinate some test and tune cooperation and increase our ability...
