0 Replies and 678 Views RPM Racing League still has spots...  678  0 Started by  SpeedTeacher Hey All, The RPM Racing League still has spots open. It is $80 down and just $17 per week. You can sign up as an individual or as a team. We will be holding the events in Columbia City. The majority of the events will be during the weekends. We should be starting around the first of April. This is your chance to get a full season of autocrossing in just seven weeks. Its a great way to cement your fundamentals. Since you use our cars, and the course is the same every week, you can see ho...

2 Replies and 1082 Views Awesome TV Looking for a Loving Home  1082  2 Started by  KBroeker Well, my wife and I took advantage of after Xmas sales and long financing to get two new TVs today. One is for my rental in Richmond, the other is to replace our main TV at home here in Ft. Wayne. So, the 'old' one must go. It is a 36' HD (1080i) tube, std. ratio (4:3), Sony XBR series. Because it is tube, it is also very heavy (300 lbs.), so we do not want to deal with that over a few more moves. It is about 5 years old and still has a great picture. Also, the sound is pretty good out of ...

12 Replies and 1482 Views Anyone up for a group dyno?  1482  12 Started by  Peppler33CS I'm interested in getting the 4 banger on the dyno to see if I can actually break the 100hp barrier. I looked around and this place seems pretty sweet, Illinois road in Fort Wayne. We can rent the dyno for a day, but we would need about 15 people to make it worthwhile. Heck if we get 20 people, its $44 per person for 3 pulls. I haven't contacted them or anything, I'm just gauging interest. I would expect to do this sometime in Jan/Feb. Anyo...

6 Replies and 1199 Views Has SCCA lost its mind  1199  6 Started by  mavisky Really Really You're going to bring back the Trans-Am series with it's tube frame chassis and cars built for the most part around vehicles that aren't even for sale anymore powered by big block carbureted v8's Way to stick with the times. The Speed GT and Touring Car series are great and modern, but still costing an arm and a leg, so they decide to drag this dinosaur up from the dead as well I'm betting with the cancellation of the ...

1 Replies and 1721 Views Annual Waiver Hard Cards  1721  1 Started by  KBroeker My membership expires each January 31, so I have just received my annual renewal in the mail. In the envelope, there was material about an 'Annual Waiver'. It would appear that this would be a card that you apply for that would replace your membership card/licence, have your photo on it and take the place of you having to sign a waiver at every event. The material included in the envelope is a letter explaining the program as well as the 'legal' form for you to fill out. The SCCA has made th...

1 Replies and 894 Views End Of Year Points  894  1 Started by  Weasel Keeper Still an '08 rookie to SCCA, I have no idea how to calculate points. Are points only calculated for FWR events If so I only took part in one official FWR event (Three Rivers Festival Solo). I'm not really in this for Solo...I love door to door, rubbin is racin' stuff. Solo is fun though. However, I took part in an Indy Region 1 hour enduro (club racing) at ORP, and a Solo at Grissom. I also took part in NEO for three events (two regional club races and The Longest Day of Nelson 24 hour...

11 Replies and 1259 Views Solo Director... Web Site Director...??  1259  11 Started by  Peppler33CS Just curious if we have an official 2009 solo director and web site director... any word It's been kinda quiet lately. One task we have as a club is to secure sites early in the year. Previous years we ran Navistar a bunch in the first few events of the season, and that is no longer available. We should also try to secure volunteers for some of the solo positions like T&S, Equipment, etc.. So any update for the club would be appreciated. Thanks! Looking forward to 2009.....
