Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. Hoping I can find alot of answers on here. Here is my question.
I have a '95 Mustang GT (SN95) that I've been trying to put together for a few years now for SCCA road race and auto cross events. Right now the interior is completely intact, but once it comes out for the cage, its not going back in, I want to strip the interior down to nothing and use a sheet metal dash. I plan on using an autopower 8 point cage, my suspension is all Maximum Motorsports, everything is still in stock location, coilovers up front and the front geometry is unchanged, the only thing that has been added is a panhard bar. The engine we have right now is a carbeurated 306 ford small block with aluminum heads and intake. My transmission is a T-56 magnum with QuickTime bellhousing. No clutch or flywheel yet because I havent made my mind up on the combination, same with wheel and tire.
I didn't really have any direction when I started with the build and knew nothing about class requirements. I started looking into the rule book last year or so with American Iron series and Camaro Mustang Challenge and realized my transmission puts a kink in the mix. What class would can I run with an aftermarket 6 speed?
