1 Replies and 2619 Views Time to move onto a new project, making room, car for sale as is.  2619  1 Started by  mavisky I've had this car since October of 1998. I've slowly built it from a bone stock 2.0 into the wild ride you see before you now. The car's won a bracket racing class at the 2002 DSM Shootout, Placed 9th overall and 1st place Team Domestic at the Winged Warrior II challenge (&91url&, and has since competed at multiple autox events doing the best it can to fend off those pesky awd's. Bottom line is that I'm just itching for a new project and can't afford to keep...

10 Replies and 2201 Views RPM Racing League (Autocross League)  2201  10 Started by  SpeedTeacher All, Earlier I had mentioned that I was putting together a couple driving programs. Everything is going very well. In fact, I have started a waiting list for our two main programs. If you are interested in participating in the initial RPM Racing League (starts in April), let me know and I will put you on the list. Our plan was to start with 20 teams, but I already have 12 teams on the list, so we are most likely bumping that to 40 teams. The details are below, but don't wait til the last m...

Hi, I hijacked this list from Bart, who I think hijacked it from others (Jason). I have some of the initial planning done but now I need to get all the worker Chiefs and critical positions filled for this event. I have made a list below of who I think will be there and what position they will fill. Please confirm whether this list is right or not. Also any volunteers are welcome. Just send me an email or reply to this post to let me know. I think T & S is solid for the last two event...

0 Replies and 769 Views Kruse Event - 10/12 preregistration  769  0 Started by  Peppler33CS I see several people registered in SM, maybe some of you meant to register in SMS. If you have race tires, stay in SM. If you have street tires (140 treadwear) then sign up for SMS. You can still make corrections in myautoevents, doing so will save time during registration and Timing & Scoring. Thanks!

0 Replies and 973 Views A strange thing happened this past saturday...  973  0 Started by  srs007 I entered an Fort Wayne Region SCCA event and actually improved on my normal gas mileage! The event was this past weekends fun rally. My co-driver and I took second place. We were the only ones to spot everything on the route, but I forgot to figure in my smaller wheel diameters, so our mileage marks were way off by the end of the route. If I had just put on my all-season tires, it would have been a slaughter. &91H&93 The event was a lot of fun with much booty to be had if you fo...

0 Replies and 920 Views Aussie pursuit--Indy 16 th st.  920  0 Started by  Warren LeVeque How can you have so much fun without winningAn Austrailian Pursuit is a side by side race by two cars on opposite sides of a peanut or snowman shaped course. After two laps the leader is the winner. A cone is certain death. Think bent circular drag race or a 'Pro Solo' You've seen this course if you raced around the 'Tweety Head' at the Corvair Olympics. You have brackets like championship ball games, You start in the winners bracket and then go to the loser's bracket and fight your wa...

6 Replies and 1883 Views Sorry!!!  1883  6 Started by  SpeedTeacher Hey Everyone, Sorry about the unanticipated delay at the end of today's event. My right front tire decided to make a jail-break and tried to get away. I'm not sure how many people have experienced the jarring (feel and sound) of something breaking on their pride and joy, but let me tell you... it ain't good. Luckily, it just sheared off all the lugs on that one hub. I changed from my racing wheels to my stock wheels for this event. I must have inadvertantly created a weak point. Either I ...
