0 Replies and 451 Views Cincy Region Events at Wilmington 7/27 and 7/28  451  0 Started by  Catch 22 Cincy will be having a Test and Tune this Saturday (limited to 50 people, $75 each) and a local event Sunday ($25) on the huge concrete pad at the former DHL facility in Wilmington, OH.  This will be the first events ever on that surface, and we're doing it as a shake down for the big national tour next weekend. The site is huge, flat, new concrete.  It measures out as slightly larger than Toledo and we won't be using any of it for paddock . Come on out this weekend and help us chris...

1 Replies and 639 Views Need a co-drive at July 21st autocross at Grissom  639  1 Started by  btwelch The V is in the shop getting new rear end bushings and a clutch installed.  Unfortunately that means all I'll have to drive this weekend will be the full-sized GMC truck they gave me as a loaner, and I don't think that'll pass muster at tech.  So, does anyone have a seat open for a co-driver this weekend

Kudos to Nick and Kevin who laid out the course.  It was  a fast and not foolish course that could be run all day without hitting a cone.  The town of Connersville welcomed us too with the Lions providing good hot food and cold drinks.   The weather worked out about as well as could be hoped for with the forcast.  I got my feet wet walking the course but after that it was pretty clean sailing.   I am interested in seeing the results of the shootout t...

0 Replies and 728 Views Clover mites or chiggers?  728  0 Started by  DragNRacing Anyone know for sure if all the red bugs at Grissom for the Peru Tour were clover mites or chiggers  I was thinking they were clover mites but someone had mentioned chiggers.  I had a ton of them in my car as they had climbed all over my stuff on the ground in the paddock area.  I don't have any bites though.

0 Replies and 687 Views Anyone have an NA miata with a hardtop and a foamectomy done to it? Would like to see if I would fit in it.  687  0 Started by  Contradiction This may be a long shot, but is there anyone in the club who has an NA Miata with a hardtop that has also done a foamectomy on it I'm 6' 1' and trying to figure out if I can fit in a miata for roadracing. I drove a stock hardtop this week and I didn't have enough head room for a helmetin it. I'm hoping I can sit in one with a foamectomy to see if that will work for me. I've read that you can get up to 2' of extra headroom doing this but I'd REALLY like to see if I am comfortable...
