7 Replies and 797 Views Elantra, a great 8/10's car.  797  7 Started by  Bobzilla Driving around at lunch today, I came to the realization that the car is a great car. A fantastic car. An unbelievably fun car. At 8/10's. Last Sunday I was a little dsiappointed with the car's overall performance. It was fun, but every flaw was glaring in my face after the day was done. But today, I drove it at a little less than full tilt, balls to the wall crazy man style and it was just fun and flawless. So for the average Joe, who only gets crazy once in a while, it's perfect. For the hardc...

0 Replies and 479 Views Anyone going to Louisville this Weekend?  479  0 Started by  SopFu Because I need a fast car to drive! Both of my front wheel bearings are bad, and parts won't be in until Thursday. I started hearing humming while turning right after Saturday's test n tune, and it's been getting worse all week. Finally took it in to the dealer and they say the left wheel grinds when spinning while suspended, and the right wheel has more play than specified as well. Car only had two years worth of autox/agressive driving before I bought it (probably no more than 8 events but...

10 Replies and 856 Views Data Loggers?  856  10 Started by  DRAG I know I could go do some research on this, but I like to hear opinions from people I know and that I see drive every other weekend. Forums have a lot of BS opinions tossed in...mostly from people who read and repeat instead of having actual experience. What do you run and what do you like and dislike about it What would you consider the best unit regardless of price What would you consider a good compromise that is affordable Thanks!! &91:D&93

4 Replies and 729 Views TSSCC event yesterday (Sun 5/25)  729  4 Started by  GChambers If you didn't go(most of you didn't), you missed a GREAT event! There was only 35ish competitors. We each ran 2 heats and worked two heats. 4 runs per heat. The course was fantastic. Gus and I were in the 58 to 60 sec range so it was quite long and very technical. Even though there were so few competitors, competetion was fierce! Lots of very fast drivers. Clemens put the smackdown on all of us. If TSSCC comes back to Grissom next year, it is a must do! Don't miss it.

15 Replies and 1050 Views Grissom: Thank you guys  1050  15 Started by  DRAG After the 1st event I had made some suggestions after listening to some frustrations from a lot of people. Sometimes being so open about things bites me in the a$$, but I'm the type of person that would rather nip stuff in the bud and get it taken care of rather than just talk about it. I hope I didn't offend anyone. The efforts to give some of those suggestions a shot at the Grissom event did not go unnoticed. I think you all did a great job and I think it sped some things up. Nice work a...
