I think I'm going to go and watch to see what I can learn. Just wondered who was going to be there. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Nebulizer EDIT: (sorry to steal your post...) Summary: It was a rainy, cold day and the course was soaked throughout. But, there were a surprisingly high number of competitors (49) and several novices. Randy Hall designed a fast, long course using the main straight with 4 slalom sections, 4 garages, and a turn...

1 Replies and 699 Views Thanks to those who helped at the swap meet.  699  1 Started by  mtownneon Just want to say thanks to those who took the time and came to help promote the region at the Indy Super Swap. Just as it was last year, it looks as though it was a success. Between the smiling faces, and cool cars we had to stop folks in their tracks, there was plenty of attention at the booth again this year. So thanks goes out to in no particular order: Jack Tovey (and his Viper) Mike Benz (and his TL) Jack Banker Phil Wehman Will Lahee Rich Lankford Cheers, Dave Dusterberg

7 Replies and 2847 Views In need of DVDs or VCR tapes of Indy Region action for swap meet display  2847  7 Started by  mtownneon Does anyone have any DVD or VCR tapes of their exploits within the region that they'd be willing to loan for the Indy Region SCCA display this Sunday Solo, Club, Rally, anything would be appreciated. We do have some promotional material but it's getting a little dated and it's generic. It'd be cool to show folks the courses and sites we run. Contact me either through the forum, at the shop, 317-821-1597, or my cell phone, 317-512-3208 Cheers, Dave

6 Replies and 771 Views WTB 13 or 14" wheel/tire  771  6 Started by  Bobzilla Wife curbed the 'turd' a week ago and destroyed the rim. Car already needed 2 tires, and the one she chewed up was one of the good, so now it needs a minimum of 3. So, what I'm looking for is a used set of 13 or 14' wheels, 4x100 bolt pattern, 38-45mm offset and a set of decent tires. Cheap is my main concern. Preferable tire size would be 185/60R14 or 175/70R13, but willing to make do if the price is right.

3 Replies and 801 Views Whoops! Hit by a semi!  801  3 Started by  DRAG Well I normally like driving my car to the auto x events, but had lightly considered tossing the car in the trailer this year so that we can have some cold drinks in the fridge and a place in the shade. So much for that idea! Sunday night we were driving through Iowa and hit some some chunk ice section of highway where the plowing duties changed from one county to another. I-80 is bad...we must have passed 250 cars in the ditch, but we were careful. We got slowed down easily, but apparently ...

5 Replies and 770 Views Saturday cruise...(pics)  770  5 Started by  DRAG I woke up Saturday with the intentions of getting my EVO VIII ready for the new buyer :( Needless to say I'm not looking forward to getting rid of that car. I can't wait for auto-x season to start so we can get back into pushing cars 10/10ths :D We took a little cruise down SR 39 towards Monrovia then decided there was too much traffic....
