0 Replies and 667 Views Volunteers needed for VW nationals at LORI 667 0 Started by nutty944 We have another chance to shine as a club by putting on an autocross for the Appletree Auto VW Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway on May 11th! I apologize for the short notice; it was a last minute addition to our schedule. Long story short, they lost the group that was going to run their autocross, and they contacted us. We are looking for volunteers to work between the hours of 7am-6pm on the 11th. If we have enough workers there should be time to check out the ...

0 Replies and 1738 Views Order Your Conor Daly Indy 500 t-shirt Today! 1738 0 Started by mtownneon Conor Daly has put together a t-shirt commemorating his drive to race the Indy 500 with AJ Foyt’s team. Foyt doesn’t have a great selection of merchandise for the race which means Conor has to try and get T-shirts done himself. Unfortunately the shirts cost quite a bit of money if he wants to order a lot and try and sell them at the track so what he’s doing is seeing how many people want them so he can order a certain number. It is $15 per shirt. Conor’s brain has bee...

0 Replies and 686 Views Drag/cross Rules 686 0 Started by mtownneon Drag/Cross rules All SCCA Solo rules are in effect except as explained below: FORMAT The event has two parts: Qualifying and Eliminations. Qualifying will be four runs, two on each course. Qualifying also will determine class winners. Class winners will be the driver with the fastest clean run. Cones will count for two seconds added to the time per cone. Missed gates or sections of the course will result in a DNF (Did Not Finish) for that run and no time will be given. Qualif...

17 Replies and 4990 Views Wheel Spacers 4990 17 Started by btwelch Operation 'fit wider tires on the V' has hit a little snag. Stock tire size for my car is 245/45/18 but I want to move up to 275/40/18 for a little more much needed grip. I knew they'd clear the rear, but also knew I didn't have much space to work with in the front. Sure enough after ordering a pair of the wider tires and getting them mounted/balanced, I discovered that the tires just lightly touch the suspension. The contact is light enough that you can still spin the wh...

0 Replies and 628 Views Solstice for sale 628 0 Started by duck_hunter_117 Hey all, I've had my Solstice up for sale over winter and had a couple deals fall through. Since it's spring and the car is still available I just wanted to post it here in case anyone is looking for a new ride this year. If you've been to any events the past few years you know how fast this car is. (2011 CSCC Overall Champion, 2012 CSCC Runner-up, 2011/2012 Connersville Fastest on Street Tires) If anyone local picks this car up I will definitely help out with any setup and other support...

3 Replies and 1034 Views FS: Mini Cooper Aftermarket Rear Sway Bar 1034 3 Started by JJGatesE30 For sale is my ALTA Performance 22mm rear sway bar. Long story short I ended up with 2 of these and this one is brand new in the box still. I won't try and sell it too much because you can look at all the information yourself. This is a very popular mod and is easy, cheap and simply makes the Mini more fun to drive. Rear sway bars on the Mini Cooper are universal so this will fit any Cooper Hatchback regardless of year and I believe they fit the Clubman and Roadster models as well. Included...

4 Replies and 1563 Views IndySCCA DragCross 1563 4 Started by nutty944 Take two parts autocross and one part drag racing, mix thoroughly and you get Drag/Cross. Drivers face off, side-by-side at a “drag race” start, before launching themselves down a straightaway and into mirror image autocross courses. Several rounds of class competition give drivers more seat time than a traditional autocross. Not only do these runs determine the class winners, it sets the overall qualifying order for the second part of the event which determines the overall w...
