Im looking into the Stock Class rules for this year and the sway bar allowance:

    14. The front sway bar may be added, replaced or removed. A replacement

The front sway bar may be added, replaced or removed. A replacement

front sway bar may serve no other purpose than originally intended by the

vehicle manufacturer. In the case where the front sway bar is also a

suspension locating link, stock geometry and methods of attachment must

    be maintained.

Will a FWD car be allowed to replace the "rear sway bar"?

I imagine that FWD will be allowed, but its not stated in the ruke book.

Or the rule intents to say

"ONE sway bar may be added, replaced or removed, ......." ??

Think this should be updated to reflect the current Solo Stock class rules?

Personally, I think we should eliminate the rule and go back to stock bars... for both Solo and RallyX

I'm fine with whatever as long as the solo and rallyX rules are the same. It's retarded having to change up the car to run an autocross vs a rallycross ... and they are both SCCA

When you start thinking that way, why isn't the Club Racing GCR the same also? Because they are different types of racing in which different cars will be competitive from one discipline to another. You have too many classes in Solo to transfer rulesets directly from it to Rally Cross. I agree that both should have an actual Stock class but Solo decided long ago to have Stock be not for true stock equipped cars. RallyCross has decided to limit class expansion and keep things simpler. My car was prepped to Street Prepared in Solo and that puts it in Modified in RX. The only part that kept me out of Prepared is lack of a catalytic converter. Every other mod is allowed in Prepared. Now that I have embraced the Modified ruleset I am slowly changing the car to match the rules and now I am in Prepared in Solo. It wasn't competitive in CSP and is even worse in FP, but it can be competitive in RX in MR. You can write letters and I wish you luck but I don't see much changing in the near future.
