I've gotten hours of entertainment from my I/O Port mounted VHS-C camera while club racing in closed cars, but that setup just wont cut it in a formula car.

Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Also, there isn't a lot of room in my Ralt RT-5.

TIA.

Russ, I use a Sony Video camera with analog inputs and a www.helmetcamera.com setup in my Formula Mazda. I also have a remote start switch from speed products 904-789-8122.
Camera mounted in box in front of nose. Agree your setup is going to be tighter, but incar video is worth all the effort & expense not only for the memories but more importantly for at the track driving diagnosis.

Very interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

Some questions: How is the quality? Do you have the camera mounted on your helmet or roll bar or ???. What do you see in the frame (steering wheel, shifter, front tires, etc.?). Do you have anything to protect the lens and/or clear covering in front of the lens?
