Well, its starting again. The Slush Series is starting on Sunday. Rain or shine we will be tossing the cars around out at Bremerton.

    50/50 here.

BTW, I'm not sure where I'll be in the WWSCC classes. I have on an exhaust and K&N for mods. No suspension mods, and I'll be on street tires.

And now it's history! Good event, not perfect, though. It got WAY behind in the morning, I think mainly due to trouble with timing equipment and a car that got stuck in a ditch, WAY off course. I ran in the afternoon, didn't see it, but a Miata nearly found the same spot. Also, the turnout was huge, I think bigger than anyone expected.

Any, some of this recommend saving the course design and re-using it when dry. Excellent course!

The ditched car was a Z3. Pretty yellow. 5th car out on its first run of the first session of the morning. They spent about 30 minutes extracting the car. It finished its runs, though I don't think the alignment was quite right. And yes, it was in WAY deep.

I had fun in my Impreza RS. I like it wet. SCCAForums Image

I was there as well and left after completing my work assignment due to the delay in the morning. Also a little too wet for me! I was there with Rotary Rockets of Washington.

Well I was there in the afternoon. Not including the Z3's excursion into the outback, we had 4 other cars doing the rallycross imitations (gallant, forced miata, SM datsun 510 with over 350 rwhp and finally a spanking porsche). Pretty fun event.

I was slutting a 99 Cobra. Man, that IRS is great in the wet. I just hope to get my live axle race ready by the 11th next month.

Whoah! I would never have guessed, although he appeared to be driving gingerly. Probably couldn't put down more than 100 at any time!

I was one of the guys that help push him back on course. He just didn't have enough traction in the mud - barely stuck, very easy to push out. I really appreceate the driver gently gassing it as we were pushing. I was expecting spining wheels to do some mud slinging. SCCAForums Image One we helped, he was just able to drive it out.

My Supra is still under repair, hopefully be about another month now, I can't wait until we are done and I can let loose on course... So, I was driving my friend's Miata - I gotta get me one of them things, too!
