    Hi all,
I look back with fond memories at my days racing a ITS Rx7 (1st Gen) at Riverside, and Willowsprings in the 80's. The Navy sent me to Kauai Hawaii in 1990 which ended my racing for awhile. I did get a chance to help clean up the Hawaii regions track one weekend and run one the track and their autocross in a rented Sunbird.
Well I've finally gotten back to the racing I love here in CENDIV. My new ride is a 1967 GP Datsun SPL311. I am also the South Bend region RE, and I use to run Solo I with the Cal Club RE Renee Angel.
With 3 feet of snow on the ground here I really do miss SOPAC

If you watch the Rose Parade Jan 1, keep in mind that the weather is imported special by the Tournament of Roses.

It's really 35 degrees here with earthquakes every other day. SCCAForums Image

Truthfully, it hasn't rained (measurably) here in LA since 10/30.

Renee is still running Solo2 (only slightly literally, she's membership chair). I've been friends with her and Craig since my first Lone Pine in 1991.

I don't know whether or not they still run Solo I. The last time I heard was about '95.

Oh yes I remember Lone Pine. It was the only time my wife ran my RX7. She did beat a Hudson Hornet. It was great for us because we lived in Ridgecrest (about 60 mins away) at the time. Has the Solo I program died out in CSCC?

Not officially. Tom McKeown is in charge of it. [url="http://home.netcom.com/~mckeownt/ wrote:
