    Ok i need some help here, i want to auto X all next season (in austin). Can someone tell me do i need to join spokes and/or SCCA or what? Id like to join both, but does it make the process much easier when you arrive on event day ?
    Sorry for the newbie question but i want to get all this taken care of so ill be all set for the year SCCAForums Image

    Brian,

    The only need to join SCCA is if you plan on running the Divisionals or National Tours. Spokes is an independent club. Lone Star Region SCCA is mainly roadracers and rarely throw autocrosses. in fact, the only autoXs they threw last year were by us Spokes members! For now, just join Spokes [url="http://www.spokes.org"]www.spokes.org[/URL] and if/when the time arises to join SCCA, you can still do so. There are even temporary licenses good for 3 months if you want to run a particular SCCA event.
