I was thinking the same thing!

I've probably checked 20 times for new content here only to see the same Perfomance Driven posts with no replys! No one seems to want hotdogs or $10.

I just got back from Cali.

Oh, the horrible things they do to poor BMWs out in LA...

BTW anyone here have a Cobalt? Had it for a rental and not too impressed. Took a windy mountain road and felt like puking afterward. That electric steering is just crap. No feel. And, though the reviews say it has plenty of power, highway driving was also a pain - no power to even accelerate at highway speeds without downshifting every time. Nice enough looking car, but pretty weak overall.

While I am rambling, am I the only one that can't help but be strangely interested in the Yaris ever since seeing Tovey in his nicely modded little car? For the cost I could pay it off in gas savings in about 3 or 4 years.

Yaris was definitely my favorite out of all the small & cheap cars we drove. Way better than Fit, Aveo, Rio, better than the Accent as well.

Which Accent Brian? The SE (16" wheels) has a different suspension.

Not the SE. Wasn't looking at it as a racecar, as the wife's daily...so "better" suspension would have been a detractor anyway.

The SE's suspension is "taught" for Hyundai, but not by anyone else's standards. It feels just right for a DD.

You know, if I had to replace the Elantra due to some terrible accident, I'd probably chose between the SX4 Sport Sedan and the Spectra5 . I like they way both of them feel.

We drove the SX4 mini-suv thing and weren't terribly impressed. OK, but not excellent. Just FWD would probably help it though.

I haven't driven a 5-spd Sedan yet, but it felt tighter than the regular SX4. As a DD, it would be good.
