Good work. I'm almost definitely going to be at the Peru events, Toledo and I'm gonna try to make Oscoda.

Props to all of you that are making this series happen!

Is the Divisional Championship open to anyone? Is there some kind of qualification or previous participation requirement?

I will likely do both Peru events if I can.

Open to anyone. It's actually a qualifier for Nationals. New rules and website will be posted soon. I'll be sure to add a link.

I've done Div. Champs. in the past without having run any Div. events prior and people were just as supportive/friendly ans any other event. I did not do particularly well as the level of competition is kicked up a few notches from regional events. Also T&S runs a little differently (paper records of cones by car at each corner are kept and audited throughout the event). And, if you have not been on concrete before, note that it is different.

Go for it and have fun!!!

I think you have to be a regular member...

Sweet! Looks like Grissom will be a hot spot this year. Lets see... 2 regional events + 1 national tour + 2 divisional = :) Seriously, if anyone (who is a member for divisional/national tour) is just thinking about doing these events at Grissom... just do it! I had a blast at the last National Tour and Divisional events there last year. Very friendly, but more "semi-professional" for sure. Still the same goofy guys/girls driving the heck out of some wild bad azz cars and cone shaggers picking up cones on course! Note: make sure to register for the National Tour early this year... it will fill up fast! And I want to see the Boss Mustang strut its stuff at Grissom this year Bill!! It just wants to stretch its legs a bit...

Once I get the new suspension geometry and support structure on the car (torch + sawzall + plasma + welder = [Y]), I'll be looking for places to flog the Boss...[6]

Yes, you must be a regular member to run the Divisional Championship, but you can run the other series events with a weekend membership. It just hasn't yet been decided on how to handle the series points/year end awards, etc. I'll post a link when the new series rules are released.

Wonder if we could twist Indy regions arm into having the FWR/Indy challenge follow a Pro-Solo Format..

I'd Love to line up against the boss with my 4-banger.. [6]

    perspective.... you Haz it.

Chuck, I'd like to have that matchup in my Miata also.

We should maybe talk about that. I don't think there is time enough to get it planned for this season. Brian Davis and I were talking about the logistics of doing such an event and there is quite a bit to it.
