Does the 99-00 and the 01-04 C5 (non Z06) have the same issue with the front bushings as the Z06 does ?

......didn't know if the slight larger rim/tire sizes of the Z06 magnified this issue or if it's just something that you have to deal with on both.

    Thanks

Yes, but the replacement parts all have the newer bushings regardless of year. The late '03s and all of '04s have the newer bushings from the factory.

Is there a GM service bulletin out concerning this bushing replacement to be done on the early Z06's and particularly the C5's? If there isn't a manufacturer's document (according the solo rulebook) specifically addressing this bushing replacement on those early Corvette models, I believe that it isn't legal in stock class.

Bare in mind that the replacement bushing is dimensionally the same, but the bushing material is of a different composition and hardness. Street Prepared - Yes, Stock - No.

Someone correct me if I am mistaken.

If the manufacturer has replaced the old part number in the system with new part it is stock legal, and a very common occurrence.
