IndySCCA has secured a site for Rallycross so now we're looking for people to help work and participate in the program. Anyone interested still interested in wanting to make this happen, PM or e-mail me @ ddusterberg@indy.rr.com

I'm co-chairing the Fort Wayne Region Rally program. You have our full support! I heard about the site this weekend from Ballinger, most excellent! Get with me if you need help with getting the sanction and insurance forms turned in. Last year we had our first event and it went great.

Actually I have Detroits and OVR schedules for this year. We are looking for a site up here and I don't know if WOR has anything yet.

I don't see the issue being a lack of participants. The real issue is having enough volunteers willing to step up and host the events. If a few people can spare just a bit of their time to make this happen we could be on our way to having events in the near future.

Thank you Geoff for clarifying. What we're asking is for folks to step up to run the program. The location is Lucas Oil Raceway @ Indianapolis.

If it helps we can co-host an event at the site. I would be more than happy to come down and help you get started. It took me about 8 months or so to find a site. After that it was just figuring out what I needed to do to support the event master. There are a lot of people out there that can help. The Ohio guys are great. My question is coming up with a date to get the ball rolling!

Would it be possible to both help and run in the event?

    Robert,

Thanks, depanding on how this goes we may take you up on that.

    Mattejb,

Just as in Solo (autocross), competitors must also help with the operation of the event.

What we are looking for right now are individuals who are willing to volunteer to take care of the administration end of running a Rallycross program for the Region. These are the people who do the organization of the event before the day of the event. Without these people thebre are no events or a Rallycross program. Remember, the SCCA is a club who's members volunteer to make what the club does happen.
