    I stumbled across this video on Youtube of a "gymkhana" ran in South Bend in 1964. No sound but interesting to see what this sport use to be. I especially liked the part where they had to back up. Slalom skills need some improvement. At least two different courses, possibly three.

    Look, they are going slower than we go today and there is more spectators there, than what we have in the present times...

    From what I can tell by looking up Gymkhana on Youtube it is similar but different from autocross these days. Unlike autocross the courses are set up so it is faster to drift a corner to get through it. Some links to good examples of modern gymkhana, at least as the Japanese see it.
