I'm glad the folks from INR had fun. We try to do a variety of things at a reduced cost for our members as an incentive to join SBR, SCCA. In addition to the open track night, we went karting last week, and we'll have a Rally on October 2nd that will basically include a free dinner as long as a SBR member is in the car participating. More details to follow.

Now that you're members, you'll be getting our newsletter where all of our activities will be announced.

Thanks again for coming.

Would you happen to know what a decent time for a spec miata is on Gingerman.

I'd really like to know how far off I am.

Found this from July of last year. This is the short track I would think?

Sunday's National Result:
1. Luckritz 1:40.677
2. Manning 1:40.494
3. Williams 1:40.376
4. Schaut 1:40.528
5. Bednarz 1:39.805
6. Weidner 1:41.185
7. Cutler 1:42.524
8. Thompson 1:42.884

It probably is the short track since I managed a low 1:43 on it.

If that was the long track, I'd have A LOT of catching up to do!

I ran a 1.50.683 on the long track this year in a '99 SM on Toyo RA1's. At GingerMan I am a top 5 runner.

Steve, How did you know you posted a 1:54?
BTW: I had a blast again! And even though it was only for the evening,
I was completely satisfied with the amount of seat time I got.
I was getting pretty tired towards the end.
That's my excuse for the spin on my last session. :)
Anyway, Jeff, I hope you guys are planning on doing this again next year.

I watched the video and had a stop watch.
It's not extremely accurate, but it's better than nothing.

As Lee said, "If you're not spinning, then you're not really driving an s2000"

at least that's something that you're experienced with.

I was amazed at how quickly you recovered.

It was only a 90 degree spin and not very dramatic. That's how I was able to recover pretty quickly. And yes ... I'm pretty experienced with the spinning.

Here are a few pictures that I took and Jeff Fogg took with my camera. If I didn't get a picture of you I'm sorry.

Well, after reading the latest sbr pit board, I noticed that sbr is having another track day on Sunday, April 29th.

I don't know any info, but if it's the same time as last year, I may just leave a little early from our event to go there.
