Aluminum frame, Tilton brakes, Penske adjustable race shocks, Hoosier race tires, much more. Original build cost over $15,000. Great project. Very, Very cool.
Race car technology at a fraction of the cost.
2005 SAE Formula 1 Challenge car built by the University of Maryland mechnical engineering department to compete in the collegiate SAE challenge. Needs restored - have a lot of additional parts. No motor. Originally had Honda 600cc motor. Car finished first at competition for 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.
Would make a great SCCA car or ??
Would consider partial trade of early Margay kart.
