Feeling the need for speed? I'm sure you will come January 21st. Saturday January 21st 2012 we will be racing at Chicago Indoor Racing, 301 Hastings Drive, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. We will be going with the Super Grand Prix again this year. That will get you three 30 lap races and if you finish with in the top 10 in points in our group you get to race in the final 30 lap race for the trophy. For the Super Grand Prix with trophies we are looking at of $96.00 per person. I need to know for sure if you are going by January 14th. If you tell me you are going and you back out after that date then you will owe me $96.00. This is open to anyone with a valid drivers license. You can meet up with us at Schepel Cadillac around 3:00 in Merrillville and car pool up, or you can just meet up with the group at Chicago Indoor Racing between 4:30 and 5:00. In years past we stay after we are done racing for dinner and drinks. This is optional and is not included in the cost of racing. If you are interested please let me know and I will add your name to the list that I will be updating on this forum. You can e-mail me with any questions you might have. Also if anyone has any diver weights we are looking to add 100lbs to Steve this year, and Jordan if he goes.Lee Muhlemanhcsi99@hotmail.com The List: Lee James Rose, Alan Au +2, Bill Fiegle, Gabe Argenta (strong maybe), Dave Brady (yes the Dave Brady), Stuart Laks, Alex S., Steve R, Kevin Kirchoff, Jason Gast.

Oh, I'm in for sure. As long as we really are meeting up @ 5:00pm

Fantastic fun, and I'll be attaching Death Race style rear bumpers (spikes, caltrops, etc...) to help discourage any bump and grind this year!

    BLASPHEMY!!

This would be the first time I'd be getting one from sbr!

Though my mom could probably pick it up.
    We'll see what happens.

Sorry this was the only day in January that they had. February is out of the question for me.

    I understand.

I'll see how things work out and see if I can go.

That and going around in a Kart sounds a lot more fun to me.

Yes, but I forgot to bring them to the turkey rally.

I'll try to remember them at the holiday party.

Hmmm, maybe... And last year there seemed to be a bit of trouble getting the car pool group to the facility. I had to keep turning down the pretty ladies who wanted to serve me drinks while I watched the other groups GO GO GO!

Now that Christmas is over I will be working on getting some more people. I'd like to have 15 but we call always race with less.

    I hope I wasn't scaring anyone away!
Really, this is a great time and while it's not as 'fast' as autocrossing or a track day, it also doesn't involve any major sweating or back bending.

And you'll be hard pressed to find any $100 Arrive-&-Drive packages anywhere else out there.

Though you could use it as a work out for your arms.

Mine were so tired that I could just barely lift my drink afterwards. XD
