Santi. What's done to that Evo. When I was picking up cones your exhaust sounded like a jets turbine. It was AWESOME

The wall slalom worked best going left, then right. With 8 runs, I must have tried every combination. No way was slow, and there was PLENTY of distance if alternated sides which ever way u started. The quarter box was wide enough that it was a straight shot at the end from the right side. Fewer inputs for the entire element allowed the suspension be in better shape for putting power down.

A better question was how were drivers taking the first optional slalom coming out of the 2nd large turnaround?

2nd large turn around I did left first then ended on the right allowing full throttle through out that stretch

Really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. Thanks to Jon for helping me shave 1 sec. from 60.

I really really don't want to launch my wrx when I get it. Something tells me I am going to fail at some point lol

LOL - stock tune changing fuel/air but no boost changes - K&N drop in and Greddy SE Catback exhaust - that's it for power mods. The Greddy SE catback is one of the quietest ones for the Evo.

Sorry about making you guys chase so many cones - I'm still trying to figure the car out, just got it in January

Obviously, getting off line is very punishing when that happens.

It was like that at HPT where 2008 & 2009 Nationals were held. It was like ice skating once you were off line.

Looks like I will pay a vist to one of your events soon.

I thought HP was bringing up sand on the driving line as well. I think that's the point where the lot is now. The large stuff is pretty much gone. It will be great seeing you and Keiko back on the Island again.

Actually, they did a good job to keep sand out of the course by using a street sweeper (!) and blowers. But later on a day, the sand creeped back on the driving line. If you can summon a few gas-powered blowers from the participants, it will make it much easier and more effective than sweeping.

Whimps! :-) If you're driving a Honda S2000 at a ProSolo, expect to be changing the clutch every third event with two drivers. If you have a crappy old Audi in primer, the factory clutch has done at least three full ProSolo seasons, even more local autox seasons where it ran every weekend, and is just starting to slip slightly off the line after 12 years. Of course, it only has to hold back 1/3 of the horsepower in most of your cars.....

That's what is keeping it together? I was wondering what my WRX needs.

Hey guys, I had lots of fun thanks for all those who gave me tips for my first time at autox. I was in the red miata with the bandaid #729. I hope to see you guys/gals next time at the next event. I've uploaded some photos that I took during the first "work" session. The second "work" session I was way too busy picking up cones. I set the privacy setting to all, please feel free to tag yourselves.
