The ARSCCA Region is hosting its First Rallycross this coming Saturday, Aug. 25 in Greenbrier, AR

Location on teh Googlymapz here: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=35.258148,-92.385505&ll=35.258498,-92.384334&spn=0.006851,0.009645&num=1&t=h&z=17

Details on the ARSCCA Forums here: http://autoxforum.com/forums/index....topic=7250

    Directions to the site:

From Conway, AR/ Interstate 40: Take Exit 125 to US-65 North, follow it through Conway to Greenbrier, AR and AR-285 (appr. 11.5mi.). Right onto AR-285 and almost immediately Left at the first driveway.

From Springfield, MO/ Interstate 44: Take Exit 82 to US-65 South, toward Branson, MO. Follow it through Hollister, MO and through Harrison, AR to Greenbrier, AR (appr. 170mi.). Left onto AR-285 and almost immediately Left at the first driveway.

The ARSCCA Region has suffered a few setbacks this year in establishing their RallyX program. Most would have given-up, but they have persevered and done their level-best to obtain a new site (donated by a member), and obtain RXSS training for key members. They would be Extremely Pleased to host members from other Regions at their Inaugural RallyX Event.

I have seen the site (in person), it is appr. 27acres, with ~8-10 acres at the moment available for Competition. Essentially everything you see in the (outdated) google-maps photo that is free of trees, plus a bit more. Tractive-surface seems to be a sort of sandy-type clay-mix soil, with a couple of perimeter roads graveled with SB2. (see photo-link in the ARSCCA forum)

They have on-site equipment (a tractor w/blade) for smoothing and grading prior-to, and making course repairs as necessary on the day of the event.

Time is slip-sliding toward the SCCA Rallycross Nationals, and this is one of the few events left prior to the Big Game (and possibly the ONLY one in MO, AR, or Eastern KS and OK). Come get your Dirt-Freak On Seat Time in, and make a better showing this October in Tulsa!

AR has no online pre-registration set up at the moment, so please post-up here or in the AR Forum with Name, Car, #, and Class if you are planning to attend this Event, to help obtain a more-accurate head-count.

Questions? Comments? Ask, and I will do my best to answer. (except you, Lehman!) OK, I'll even attempt to answer Lehman's Questions/Comments.......

Thank You, and the ARSCCA Region Thanks You for your time and support,

-Scott Creech: 2012 Veloster #29 PF

-Jeanie Creech: 2012 Veloster #129 PF

Thanks Scott! A bunch of hard work from a few, and several volunteers have been needed to make this place ready! Some of us will be rallyx virgins on the 25th!

Bump for a Great Site, and an even better Time in the Making!

The Forum-link above bit the dust (they're having "server issues" at the moment).

But, you can indicate you are attending here!

By my reckoning, there are between 7-12 attendees thus far (hopefully more!) - it's been scattered, so hard to get an accurate count. All the more reason to post-up your Intentions!

C'mon - like you won't be washing your car this Sunday anyway! Might as well make it "worth the time"!

WOOOT! If you had the opportunity to attend this, and just blew it off - YOU FARGIN' MISSED OUT, HOMES!

    AR-Region SCCA CAN Dance!

Now, you may go sulk in a corner someplace and curse your inability to commit to a short drive to participate in a Great Event.....

    That is All.

One minor hiccup on the front end that I think was mostly forgotten after all 22 drivers had 4 runs and certainly forgotten after everybody had 8 runs... thanks for helping us get going Scott!
